These are die cut from standard 1/32 thick gray gasket paper. The bolt hole spacing is 46mm x 86mm  x 9mm in diameter.  The venturi diameters are 35mm and 32mm. I built the die to make these myself(machinist) the die is very precise. However I am still cutting the outer perimeter by hand(not critical). I made the die when working on a friends car(1959 Ponton 220s). I then made up a stack of extras. If there is a demand I will finish the die to cut the perimeter as hand trimming is tedious and time consuming. As you may know there are 4 of these needed per carburetor, so on a twin carb car you will need a total of 8. I believe that the carb kits that are available only contain 1 gasket. This auction is for 4 gaskets. I am also working on a die to make the accelerator pump diaphragms and gaskets as these are impossible to find, so check back.

Chevrolet Volt production halted – again

Wed, 29 Aug 2012

General Motors has revealed that they are to halt production of the Chevrolet Volt for four weeks as sales stay low. Back in March, we revealed that GM were to stop production of the Chevrolet Volt range extender EV as actual sales fell well behind projected sales. At that time – with a production target of 45,000 Chevy Volts in 2012 – GM had managed to flog just 1.626 Volts in the first two months of 2012 so they decided to halt production for a moth as they had 6,300 Volts stockpiled.

GM exec sees room for Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S fighter

Chevrolet unveiled two stylish concepts at the 2012 Detroit auto show. One, the Tru 140S, was a bit of a poser -- its exotic looks belied its hypothetical low price point and its front-wheel-drive underpinnings. The boxy red Code 130R, on the other hand, had the potential to be dynamite.

Ferrari 458 Italia (2010) at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Thu, 27 Aug 2009

By Tim Swietochowski First Official Pictures 27 August 2009 13:17 Ferrari has issued more pictures of the striking new 458 Italia, which will be displayed for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new photographs on the road reveal a mid-engined sports car that looks immediately more modern than the previous studio shots. The climbing headlight design is unusual for a Ferrari, and we can now see banks of LED lights and horizontal strakes rising up the front fender alongside the aero vents.
