PREVIOUSLY THE BOSCH MOTOR ALONE WAS $84.89. WHICH I REMOVED FROM AN EQUALLY WELL CARED FOR 1978 300CD. AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, THE OWNER'S MANUAL, MOTOR MOUNTING HARDWARE AND REGULATOR ELBOW C CLIP IS INCLUDED. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK PRIOR TO PURCHASE. GET THIS VERY HARD TO FIND GENUINE USED BROSE COBURG LEFT REAR REGULATOR AND 14 TOOTH BOSCH MOTOR ASSEMBLY FASTER WITH FREE USPS PRIORITY SHIPPING TO YOUR CONFIRMED USA ADDRESS! USPS PRIORITY TRACKING INCLUDED! THE LAST THREE PICTURES SHOW THE MOTOR AS IT APPEARED IN A PREVIOUS "MOTOR ONLY" LISTING PRIOR TO EDITING. IT IS THE SAME MOTOR SEEN IN THE FIRST PICTURE OF THIS LISTING. IF YOU STILL NEED JUST THE MOTOR OR JUST THE REGULATOR, I DO HAVE OTHERS. PLEASE NOTE THE OWNER'S MANUAL IS USED, GENUINE AND COMPLETE. I FOUND NO TORN OR MISSING PAGES. THE MANUAL HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO DIESEL FUEL CAUSING A YELLOWING OF THE PAGES THROUGHOUT. THE BOOK IS DRY, HOWEVER, THERE IS A LINGERING FUEL ODOR THAT REMAINS. AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS MADE NOTATIONS ON A FEW PAGES WITHIN THIS MANUAL. I CAN PROVIDE PICTURES OF THESE UPON REQUEST IF YOU WISH. NONE ARE PROVIDED HERE SINCE THE PICTURE LIMIT HAS BEEN REACHED. OWN A 1978 TO 1985 MERCEDES W123 280CE OR 300CD?? HAVE A NEED FOR A BETTER THAN AVERAGE USED GENUINE BROSE COBURG LEFT REAR REGULATOR PART NUMBER 1236701503? AND IT'S BOSCH MOTOR PART NUMBER 0130820064? PLEASE CONSIDER THESE AWESOME PARTS AS YOUR NEXT REPLACEMENTS. THE REGULATOR APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN A RECENT REPLACEMENT WHICH I WILL EXPLAIN FURTHER BELOW. THE MOTOR IN IT'S OWN RITE IS JUST AS AWESOME BASED ON IT'S OVERALL CONDITION AND TEST RESULTS. PLEASE NOTE THE LAST THREE PICTURES ARE THE SAME MOTOR YOU SEE IN THE FIRST PICTURE. I EDITED A PREVIOUS 'MOTOR ONLY' LISTING TO INCLUDE THIS MOTOR IN THIS OFFER. AS SEEN IN THE LAST TWO PICTURES, I FOUND THE INTERIOR OF THE GEAR BOX FREE OF WATER AND RUST CONTAMINATION. I REMOVED AS MUCH OF THE OLD GREASE AS I COULD TO GIVE YOU A CLEARER PICTURE OF THIS MOTOR. AND TO PROVIDE AN ADDED LEVEL OF PROOF THIS MOTOR DID NOT COME FROM A FLOOD CAR. I ADDED FRESH GREASE BEFORE PUTTING THE MOTOR BACK TOGETHER. IT APPEARS THE MOTOR HAD HARDLY BEEN USED SINCE THE GREASE STILL HAD A FRESH LOOK. EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THE MOTOR STILL HAS, CONSERVATIVELY SPEAKING, 90% OF IT'S BRUSH MATERIAL LEFT. WHEN TESTED OFF THE REGULATOR, THE MOTOR STARTED INSTANTLY RUNNING FULL POWER. THE MOTOR RAN STEADY AND QUIET JUST LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. ON THE REGULATOR THE TEETH OF THE REGULATOR MESHED FULLY WITH THE TEETH OF THE MOTOR. THE REGULATOR OPENED AND CLOSED FULL RANGE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES DETECTED. TO CONFIRM PROPER PLACEMENT OF THIS REGULATOR ASSEMBLY ON THE MERCEDES IMAGINE STANDING BEHIND YOURS. YOUR LEFT SIDE IS ALSO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR. SO WITH THAT SAID, THIS REGULATOR ASSEMBLY FITS THE LEFT REAR WINDOW LOCATION OF THE MERCEDES W123 280CE OR 300CD. PLEASE CLICK ON ANY PICTURE TO SEE LARGER MORE DETAILED VIEWS OF THESE GENUINE USED MERCEDES PARTS. SEVERAL YEARS AGO ONE OF THE CHORES I NEEDED TO DO ON MY FIRST MERCEDES, A 1980 W123 300CD, WAS TO REPLACE BOTH REAR REGULATORS. FINDING A USED REAR REGULATOR FOR THE W123 COUPE WORTHY OF RECOVERY THEN PROVED TO BE QUITE THE CHALLENGE. AND TOOK SOME TIME TO DO SO. EVEN TODAY, GOOD USED WINDOW PARTS FOR THE MERCEDES W123 280CE OR 300CD ARE VERY RARE TO FIND. THE POPULARITY OF ANY MERCEDES COUPE SEEMS TO GROW STRONGER EVERY YEAR. I BASE THIS CLAIM ON THE FACT I TOO OWNED AN SEC AND A W124 E320 COUPE. I AM NOT A MECHANIC. BE THAT AS IT MAY, I TRY TO AVOID ANY SHOP LABOR COST I CAN BY STUDYING CARS LIKE MINE MADE AVAILABLE FOR PARTING. OVER TIME THE HARDWARE SECURING THE REGULATOR CAN LOOSEN WITH ROAD VIBRATION. SOMETIMES THE MOUNTING HARDWARE OF THE MOTOR DOES TOO. WHEN THE PARTS LOOSEN THEY FALL OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND WILL BEND AND TWIST UNTIL THE WINDOW FAILS TO MOVE. I HAVE FOUND EVIDENCE OF THIS TO AN EXTREME WHERE THE MOTOR'S DRIVE GEAR BENDS THE REGULATOR SO FAR OUT OF SHAPE, IT NO LONGER MAKES CONTACT WITH THE REGULATOR'S ROUND DRIVE SPROCKET. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHY YOUR REAR WINDOWS FAIL TO MOVE, PLEASE CONSIDER THESE POSSIBILITIES. ARE BOTH OF YOUR REAR WINDOWS NON FUNCTIONAL? IF SO, AND BOTH YOUR FRONT WINDOWS WORK FINE, THEN THE CHILD LOCKOUT SWITCH IS THE FIRST PLACE TO LOOK. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM WITH A REAR WINDOW THAT REFUSES TO WORK, REMOVE AND REPLACE THE WINDOW FUSE FIRST WITH A COPPER DESIGN FUSE. REGARDING STRIP FUSES MERCEDES USED IN THESE CARS, DO NOT SIMPLY LOOK AT THE FUSE AND THINK IT IS OK. HAIRLINE CRACKS CAN DEVELOP IN THE FUSE STRIP METAL THAT CAN NOT BE SEEN BY THE NAKED EYE. CLEAN THE FUSE CONTACTS BEFORE INSTALLING A NEW FUSE. NEXT...LIFT THE CENTER WOOD CONSOLE SWITCH COVER TO..... FIRST SEE THAN ALL THE WINDOW SWITCH PLUGS ARE SECURE. IF THEY ARE, THE NEXT TEST WILL BYPASS ANY ISSUE YOU MIGHT HAVE WITH THE CHILD LOCKOUT SWITCH. IN THE CASE OF THIS REGULATOR LOCATION, IF YOUR LEFT FRONT WINDOW WORKS NOW, UNPLUG IT FROM IT'S CONSOLE SWITCH. UNPLUG THE LEFT REAR WINDOW PLUG FROM IT'S SWITCH AS WELL. NOW PLUG THE LEFT REAR WINDOW PLUG INTO THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH. TEST THE LEFT REAR WINDOW'S OPERATION BY ACTIVATING THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH. STILL NO RESULT? THE WINDOW REFUSES TO WORK? REPLACE ALL THE SWITCH PLUGS BACK INTO THEIR RESPECTIVE PLACES. IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MERCEDES COUPE THAT A NON OPERATING REAR WINDOW, IF NOT ELECTRICAL, IS MOST LIKELY CAUSED BY A BENT REGULATOR. THIS IN TURN JAMS THE MOTOR AND YOU SEE ABSOLUTLY NO WINDOW MOVEMENT. REPLACING THE REAR REGULATOR IS AN INVOLVED TASK. SO IF YOU ARE A DO IT YOURSELF INDIVIDUAL, YOU ONLY WANT TO DO THIS JOB ONCE. MERCEDES USED A BROSE COBURG LEFT REAR REGULATOR PART NUMBER 1236700503 FROM 1978 TO 1980. THIS REGULATOR USED THE BLACK PLASTIC CASED BOSCH 14 TOOTH MOTOR(PICTURED AND INCLUDED HERE) PART NUMBER 0130820064. THEN IN 1981 MERCEDES CHANGED THIS REGULATOR PART NUMBER TO 1236701503. AND THE BOSCH 14 TOOTH MOTOR WAS REDESIGNED TO BE AN ALL METAL MOTOR PART NUMBER 0130821020. BOTH REGULATOR PART NUMBERS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE. BOTH BOSCH 14 TOOTH MOTORS ARE ALSO INTERCHANGEABLE. PLUS EACH MOTOR CAN BE MOUNTED TO EITHER REGULATOR. AND EITHER REGULATOR WILL SERVE THE LEFT REAR WINDOW LOCATION OF THE MERCEDES W123 280CE OR 300CD JUST FINE. I REMOVED THIS REGULATOR FROM A WELL CARED FOR MERCEDES 1983 300CD. GIVEN THE GEAR GREASE STILL LOOKING FRESH AND THE LACK OF WEAR ON THE ARCH GEAR TEETH, I AM LEAD TO BELIEVE THIS REGULATOR WAS A NOT TOO DISTANT REPLACEMENT. OPENING AND CLOSING THE REGULATOR BY HAND TAKES LITTLE EFFORT. WITH THE REGULATOR IN FULL COLLAPSE, ONCE I RELEASE ONE HAND OFF THE REGULATOR IT SPRINGS FULL OPEN ON IT'S OWN. I FIND THAT MANY SELLERS PROVIDE SEVERAL PICTURES OF PARTS THEY WANT TO SELL. HOWEVER, A HARD LESSON I LEARNED WAS BUYING USED MERCEDES PARTS STILL CAKED IN GREASE CAN OFTEN HIDE WEAR OR DAMAGE YOU WOULD OTHERWISE PASS UP. I HAND CLEANED MOST OF THE GREASE, DIRT AND GRIME FROM THESE PARTS SO YOU WILL HAVE A CLEAR VIEW OF THEIR ACTUAL CONDITION. PLUS AS SEEN IN THE THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH PICTURES, YOU ARE ABLE TO SEE CLOSE UP THE REAR TEETH OF THE ARCH GEAR. IT IS VITAL YOU SEE THE CONDITON OF THESE TEETH SINCE THEY BEAR THE BULK OF THE STRESS THE WEIGHT OF THE WINDOW GLASS EXPERIENCES WHEN THE WINDOW IS IN THE UP POSITION. ROAD VIBRATION ALONG WITH POSSIBLE LOOSE MOUNTING HARDWARE WILL CAUSE THE ARCH GEAR TEETH TO BOUNCE AGAINST THE GEAR TEETH OF THE MOTOR. OVER TIME, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE TEETH WILL WIDEN ULTIMATELY CAUSING A SLOPPY WINDOW MOVEMENT LEADING TO FURTHER MISALIGNMENT. THE GLASS WILL BIND AS IT ATTEMPTS TO MOVE WITHIN THE FELT CHANNELS. THIS BINDING WILL CAUSE MORE STRESS BETWEEN THE MOTOR'S DRIVE GEAR AND THE ARCH GEAR. THE REGULATOR WILL LOSE THIS BATTLE EVERY TIME BENDING OUT OF SHAPE. I SEE NO EVIDENCE OF WEAR ON ANY OF THE ROUND SPROCKET TEETH EITHER. ALL THE SPACES BETWEEN THE TEETH APPEAR EVEN AND UNIFORM. THE MAIN GEAR UNDER THE ROUND SPROCKET SHOWS NO WEAR EITHER. AND I CAN FEEL NO UP AND DOWN PLAY IN THE SHAFT THAT SUPPORTS THIS SPROCKET. VERY NICE! THE CREME COLOR BUMPER IS IN GREAT SHAPE. AND WHEN THE REGULATOR IS FULLY COLLAPSED, THE BUMPER ALIGNS WITH IT'S STOP BRACKET EACH TIME. INTERNATIONAL EBAY MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE. YOUR COUNTRY'S IMPORT TAX/FEE IS NOT PART OF THE LISTING PRICE. THIS FEE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. THANKS |

2012 Infiniti FX Facelift arrives despite Infiniti saying it’s not needed
Wed, 11 Apr 20122012 Infiniti FX Facelift UK A facelift for the Infiniti FX has been revealed for the UK and Europe – the same facelift the US got last summer. Infiniti won’t believe us, but we do think the Infiniti FX has a lot to recommend it. There’s a decent choice of engines, it seems to ride well enough and can show a lot of competitors a clean pair of heels.

Lotus Clark Type 25 Elise SC (2008): first official pictures
Thu, 05 Jun 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 05 June 2008 11:41 Lotus has unveiled its first special edition supercharged Elise. Dubbed Clark Type 25 Elise SC, the new model commemorates legendary F1 driver Jim Clark, who died 40 years ago at Hockenheim. Inspiration comes from the Type 25 F1 car Jim Clark won the 1963 world championship in, so the SC is British racing green with a central yellow stripe, plus black and silver Lotus Sport wheels.
