Looks like crap, works great.  This is the original Mercedes part off a 1983 W123 300D and should fit any other W123-chassis Mercedes.  It looks pretty discolored in places--I have no idea how that happened, it was like that when I pulled it out.  Your guess is as good as mine.  The only other condition note is a hairline crack or two around the sockets for the screws, which have no functional effect on anything.  I've tested this with a handheld vacuum pump and it holds a vacuum and locks and unlocks perfectly smoothly.

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

THE NEW age of efficiency appears not to be dampening manufacturers’ desire to build high-performance flagship cars, with 3,000bhp worth of shiny new models set to descend on Birmingham’s Performance Car Show in January. Among the headliners are the Jaguar XKR-S GT, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, McLaren 12C Sprint and Aston Martin Vanquish. The Ferrari steals the outright performance headlines, with 0-62mph dispatched in just three seconds and 100mph disappearing in only 6.5 seconds, courtesy of a melodious 6.3-litre V12 engine under the long bonnet.
