I have available for sale a segment of hose for the oil feed, low pressure, for the power steering pump. This is a new, unused hose.

This is for a Mercedes W124, E420, with the M119 V8 engine.

This hose is known to cause a leak originating from under the power steering assembly.

This hose cannot be seen as you look at the engine, neither from above, nor from below.

It goes from under the Power Steering reservoir, down to the Power steering pump inlet.

I have included a photo that shows the location of this hose.

I have included two photos, that show that for my Mercedes, a 1994 E420, this hose was 2.3" long and of 15mm diameter.

I also have a photo that shows the Cohline hose that I am selling.

I am selling a Cohline model 2633.1300-15x23-3 oil hose.

Cohline GmbH is a well known German company funded in 1932, they supply OEM equipment for many manufacturers, specialize in Automotive Fluid Handling Techonolgy. They are ISO and DIN certified.

Here are the features of this hose:

Inner diameter 15mm

Outer diameter 23mm

Working pressure 40 Bar

Test Pressure 60 Bar

Burst Pressure 160 Bar

This is an oil hose with temperature range between -40F to +257F

Here is the manufacturer's sheet:

This auction is for a 6" segment of the hose described above. Nothing else is included.

I am making no statement regarding hose fitment on your car. I don't know if this hose will fir any other Mercedes than mine, a 1994 Mercedes E420, equipped with a ZF 7682 955 503 power steering pump.

My recommendation is for you to physically have your hose removed, measure its diameter, then know for sure if this fits.

If you are able to read the power steering manufacturer plate on the pump and can see you have the same part number for the pump, I have the opinion (but am not providing this opinion as a guarantee) that odds are good that my hose will fit your car.

As I was looking for a hose for my car, I started to have the opinion that for W124 power steering reservoir-pump hose, two diameters seem to be used, for the whole range of engines.

By bidding, you acknowledge that you are responsible with any and all fitment issues involving this hose.

The sale is final, there are no returns, no warranty of any kind.

Toyota will install brake override systems on all Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles by year end as a way to prevent unintended acceleration.
