Car Sounds Music by Mark Marrington Yorkshire composer Mark Marrington has created ‘Dance Music with a vehicular Twist’ in a composition using car sounds. Making ‘music’ from car sounds is nothing new. Porsche sales spiked 82 percent in April and are up 46 percent for the year, parking the luxury automaker among the top five winners so far for 2011. The redesigned Cayenne made the biggest contribution, with sales up an eye-popping 384 percent from last April and 141 percent for this year. Porsche counted 1,578 copies of the Cayenne sold in April, versus 326 the year before.

McLaren introduces 12C GT Sprint

McLaren confirmed on Monday that the 12C GT Sprint track-focused racer will cost about $316,000, converted from British pounds. That doesn't include taxes and destination. The GT Sprint was built by the McLaren GT racing arm of McLaren Automotive, and retains much of the 12C road car.
