Peugeot Releases Special Edition RCZ With All The Trimmings
Thu, 08 May 2014FLUSHED with the success of its racy RCZ sports coupe, Peugeot has launched a ‘Red Carbon’ LE special edition model. Combining high specification, bespoke trim and ‘Red Carbon’ badging, the car is distinguished from the regular RCZ models by a red-stitched interior. Limited to 300 models, the ‘Red Carbon’ LE is derived from the regular Sport model.
College Exhibition: IAAD - Yamaha Project
Fri, 20 Oct 2006In early September, Transportation Design students from Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design - Turin (IAAD) presented the results of 'Yamaha Next Move', a project sponsored by Yamaha, exploring a personal vision of a Yamaha scooter for the near future. Yamaha guided the students through the next generation of "two wheelers" suggesting two themes: - Youngsters, two wheels, 50 cc: For kids that can only drive 50 cc, there are many products on the market, but sales are in decline. The project brief included evaluation of the possible causes for lack of interest and offers new solutions, including functional and aesthetic proposals.
Study: Distracted driving deemed socially unacceptable among young drivers
Wed, 17 Apr 2013A new survey shows that young drivers think it’s socially unacceptable to drive distracted. This data is among the results of tiremaker Bridgestone Americas Inc.'s annual survey that polls more than 2,065 drivers aged 16 to 21 nationwide. Of those drivers, 80 percent said sending texts and emails is "unacceptable." But our distracted-driving epidemic isn't solved yet; 37 percent admit to still doing it.
