USPS PRIORITY TRACKING INCLUDED!

THIS IS A RARE MOTOR TO FIND THESE DAYS STILL IN WORKING CONDITION.

PLEASE READ THIS LISTING CAREFULLY SO YOU DO NOT BUY THE WRONG PART.

THIS MOTOR DESIGN IS RARE BECAUSE I HAVE ONLY SEEN THIS MOTOR DESIGN USED IN THE 1984 TO 1985 MERCEDES W201 190E.

THIS MOTOR MOUNTS ONLY TO THE BROSE COBURG PLASTIC/ALUMINUM REGULATOR USED FROM 1984 TO 1985 IN THE 190E.

THE PART NUMBER OF THE REGULATOR THIS MOTOR MOUNTS TO IS 2017200646.

AGAIN, THE BROSE COBURG PLASTIC/ALUMINUM REGULATORS WERE ONLY USED IN THE 1984 TO 1985 MERCEDES 190E PRODUCTION.

SO IF YOU ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF YOUR 1984 OR 1985 MERCEDES 190E I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL AND CONFIRM THE BROSE COBURG REGULATOR IS STILL THERE.

MOST TIMES WHEN THE REGULATOR NEEDS REPLACED, A PREVIOUS OWNER MAY OPT TO INSTALL A MORE READILY AVAILABLE BROSE CAST ALUMINUM WHICH USES A FAR DIFFERENT MOTOR THAN THE ONE YOU SEE LISTED HERE.

I REMOVED THIS MOTOR ALONG WITH IT'S PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR(NOT INCLUDED) FROM A WELL CARED FOR 1985 MERCEDES 190E.

WHEN TESTED, THE MOTOR STARTED INSTANTLY RUNNING FULL POWER WITHOUT HESITATION, STUTTER, OR GRINDING NOISE.

SPLICING IS NOT NECESSARY AS THE FACTORY CONNECTORS ARE INTACT.

IF YOU ARE NOT QUITE SURE WHY YOUR LEFT FRONT WINDOW REFUSES TO WORK, HERE ARE SOME TIPS I STUMBLED THROUGH YEARS AGO WITH MY OWN MERCEDES WINDOW PROBLEM.

ON A MERCEDES W201, THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW AND THE RIGHT REAR WINDOW ARE ON THE SAME FUSE.

DOES YOUR RIGHT REAR WINDOW WORK NORMALLY? YES? GREAT!

THIS PROVES THE FUSE IS NOT THE PROBLEM.

NEXT, CAREFULLY LIFT THE WOOD SHIFTER SWITCH COVER TO VERIFY ALL THE SWITCH CONNECTORS ARE PLUGGED IN.

ARE THEY? YES? GREAT! NOW LETS RULE OUT THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH.

DOES YOUR LEFT REAR WINDOW WORK NOW NORMALLY? YES? GREAT!

UNPLUG THE LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH FROM UNDER THE WOOD SHIFTER SWITCH COVER.

UNPLUG THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH AS WELL.

PLUG THE LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH PLUG INTO THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH.

TEST THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW NOW BY PUSHING THE LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH.

DOES THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW MOVE NORMALLY? YES? GREAT! REPLACE THE LEFT FRONT SWITCH.

IF IT DOES NOT WORK, THEN THE MOTOR MAY BE BAD. PLEASE PROCEED.

RETURN ALL THE SWITCH PLUGS TO THEIR RESPECTIVE LOCATIONS.

BE SURE THE SMALL CHILD LOCKOUT PLUG IS SECURE AS WELL.

NOW, IF YOU ARE A DO IT YOURSELF INDIVIDUAL, LET'S SEE IF THE WINDOW MOTOR IS WHAT YOU REALLY NEED.

THERE IS A TEST YOU CAN DO DIRECTLY TO THE MOTOR WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE CAR DOOR.

THIS TEST WILL REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE DOOR PANEL.

AND YOU WILL NEED A 12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY LIKE A BATTERY CHARGER.

REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL.

LOCATE THE JUNCTION BLOCK IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE DOOR.

THE JUNCTION BLOCK IS SIMILAR TO THE ONE YOU NOW SEE ATTACHED TO THE MOTOR'S WIRES IN THIS LISTING.

I AM INCLUDING THIS JUNCTION BLOCK AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE JUST IN CASE YOU DISCOVER, AS I OFTEN DO, YOUR JUNCTION BLOCK IS BROKEN.

OR IT BREAKS WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO REMOVE SCREWS SEIZED IN PLACE WITH RUST.

REMOVE THE SCREWS.

PULL THE MOTOR'S GREEN AND BLACK WIRES FREE.

CONNECT THE CHARGER'S POSITIVE CABLE TO THE MOTOR'S GREEN WIRE.

CONNECT THE CHARGER'S NEGATIVE CABLE TO THE MOTOR'S BLACK WIRE.

THIS FIRST CONNECTION MAY NOT PRODUCE A RESULT AS IT MAY BE A COMMAND TO RAISE AN ALREADY RAISED WINDOW.

DID THE WINDOW MOVE NORMALLY WITH THIS FIRST CONNECTION? YES? GREAT!

NOW REVERSE THE WIRES.

REVERSE THE WIRES ANYWAY IF THE WINDOW DID NOT MOVE WITH THIS FIRST CONNECTION.

THIS MEANS TO CONNECT THE CHARGER'S POSITIVE CABLE TO THE MOTOR'S BLACK WIRE.

CONNECT THE CHARGER'S NEGATIVE CABLE TO THE MOTOR'S GREEN WIRE.

DID THE WINDOW MOVE/RETURN NORMALLY TO IT'S ORIGINAL POSITION? YES? GREAT! YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPLACE YOUR MOTOR.

YOUR WINDOW PROBLEM LIES ELSEWHERE.

IF YOUR WINDOW DID NOT MOVE AT ALL NO MATTER HOW YOU CONNECTED THE MOTOR, THEN IT IS LIKELY THE MOTOR DOES NEED REPLACED.

THIS IS A GENUINE USED BROSE COBURG MOTOR. NOT AN AFTERMARKET LOOK ALIKE.

TO CONFIRM PROPER PLACEMENT OF THIS MOTOR ON THE MERCEDES IMAGINE STANDING BEHIND YOURS.

YOUR LEFT SIDE IS ALSO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR.

SO WITH THAT SAID, THIS MOTOR FITS THE LEFT FRONT BROSE COBURG PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR PART NUMBER 2017200646.

MERCEDES USED THIS MOTOR DESIGN FOR THE BROSE COBURG PLASTIC REGULATOR PART NUMBER 2017200646 IN THE 1984 AND 1985 MERCEDES W201 PRODUCTION YEARS ONLY.

IF YOU ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF YOUR MERCEDES AND IT IS A 1984 OR 1985 MODEL, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MOTOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED WHAT MOTOR/REGULATOR ASSEMBLY YOUR 190 HAS.

A PREVIOUS OWNER MAY HAVE OPT TO REMOVE THE ORIGINAL BROSE COBURG PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR AND REPLACED IT WITH A STURDIER REITTER AND SCHEFENACKER CAST METAL REGULATOR.

THIS MOTOR WILL NOT FIT THE REITTER AND SCHEFENACKER REGULATOR DESIGN.

IF YOU DISCOVER YOUR OLD LEFT FRONT WINDOW MOTOR MOUNTED TO A BROSE COBURG PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR IS A BOSCH BRAND PART NUMBER 0130821037, THAT'S OK!!

THIS MOTOR WILL REPLACE IT JUST FINE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE SPECIAL SPACERS AND WASHERS FROM YOUR OLD MOTOR.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN MOUNTING THIS MOTOR TO THE BROSE COBURG PLASTIC REGULATOR DESIGN.

YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE THE SPECIAL WASHERS AND SPACERS (NOT INCLUDED IN THIS OFFER)REQUIRED, FROM YOUR OLD MOTOR, FOR THIS MOTOR TO FIT THE PLASTIC REGULATOR PROPERLY.

IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A BROSE COBURG PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR FROM ANOTHER SELLER, THE WASHERS AND SPACERS FOR THE MOTOR MUST HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE OFFER.

WITHOUT THEM, THIS MOTOR WILL NOT MOUNT THE BROSE COBURG PLASTIC DESIGN REGULATOR.

AND I DO NOT HAVE THEM AT THIS TIME.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK PRIOR TO PURCHASE.

INTERNATIONAL EBAY MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE.

YOUR COUNTRY'S IMPORT TAX/FEE ADDED AT CUSTOMS IS NOT PART OF THE LISTING PRICE.

THIS FEE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

THANKS

Two LaFerraris test at Fiorano Circuit

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

We don't need to say much about this video of two Ferrari LaFerraris testing at the Fiorano Circuit in Italy --caught by spy videographer extraordinaire Marchettino --except for “turn it up to 11.” In fact, we recommend you use a headphone-to-RCA converter and plug it in to the loudest stereo you have. That's the only way you can truly appreciate the Italian-opera wail coming from the 963 hp, 6.3-liter V12 as it boogies around the 1.8-mile, 12-turn test track. Marchettino said the camouflaged car must have a different exhaust because it sounded so much louder.

Nissan Almera

Thu, 30 Aug 2012

The new Nissan Almera was launched yesterday at the 2012 Moscow auto show, designed specifically for the Russian market. The design team sought to combine contemporary Nissan design cues with more classic features on this 4,656mm-long five-seat sedan. The Almera has a long wheelbase of 2,700mm while the luggage area is said to be disguised by the sweep of the roofline and rear window that flows into the trunk lid.

Kia 4-Door Concept heading to Frankfurt 2011

Fri, 19 Aug 2011

Kia 4-Door Concept heading for Frankfurt 2011 It really is remarkable, the pace of change at Kia. Once the butt of as many jokes as Skoda at the height of their ‘Skip-on-Wheels’ era, Kia is now a real force. And a real force going very much upmarket, if the Kia 4-Door Concept heading for Frankfurt 2011 is anything to go by.
