No, this is not a tie-up between Alistair Darling and VW, it’s just Skoda’s way of offering a headline price decrease of a bit over 13% (less expensive to Skoda than last week for the same headline, to be fair, and there is a new model due in January!). Peugeot 308 RCZ concept
Tue, 31 Jul 2007These are the first pictures of the Peugeot 308 RCZ concept car, scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Based on the forthcoming 308, the 308 RCZ is a 2+2 coupe - in the same ilk as Audi's TT. The construction focuses on lightweight, employing aluminum in the roll over protection bars, a polycarbonate rear windscreen and carbon fiber body panels. Design details of the dramatic concept include pronounced wheel-arches that blend seamlessly with the aggressive front fascia and a stepped beltline. The large offset between the door and rocker panel emphasizes the purposeful, sporting stance.

Fri, 09 Mar 2012Are Land Rover planning a smaller Freelander? It’s reported that Land Rover are planning a sub-Freelander model to fit in below the current Freelander 2 as a ‘leisure’ vehicle. Land Rover, just like Jaguar, are very much on the up since Tata took the reins in 2008 and are investing heavily in future models with 40 new models, variations and other product promised in the next few years and JLR profits of over £1 billion a year.
