NHTSA probing coolant leak in Porsche 911?
Tue, 30 Apr 2013In another embarrassing failure to understand what they're supposed to be regulating, the NHTSA has announced that they are investigating a “coolant leak” in Porsche 911s that were built with the GT1 engine block between 2001 and 2007. Jaguar ramps up free maintenance program on 2011 models
Thu, 22 Apr 2010Jaguar North America, seeking to dispel lingering image problems and quell concerns about repair costs, is launching a free scheduled maintenance program for all 2011 models. The Jaguar Platinum Coverage program is a 5-year/50,000 mile new vehicle warranty with free scheduled maintenance, no-cost replacement of major wear-and-tear parts and 24/7 roadside assistance. Unlike Jaguar's previous free maintenance program, there is no cost for oil changes, filters, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluids and wiper blade inserts.

A further 62% of British drivers fail to put any money aside to help with the cost of an MoT and any repairs that result from the legally required annual test. The research by Asda Money found that only 7% of drivers think their car will fail its MoT.
