Mercruiser, 165 Hp.straight Six Complete Running Drop In Engine on 2040-parts.com
Belgium, Wisconsin, United States
For sale is a very nice complete running drop in marine engine. This engine was removed from a 1978 boat that had suffered stringer and floor rot. The engine has very good cylinder compression readings of 145 to 155 PSI. I ran the engine on the test stand for over an hour. Engine oil and filter were changed. Fuel filters were also replaced. The engine is being sold as shown. Note the valves that have been installed, to aid in draining the block and manifolds for winterization. The engine requires a new or used drive coupling prior to installation. The Mercruiser part number for this coupling is: 76850A2 or equivalent. I have a video of the engine running. This could be e mailed on request. There was no hour meter installed on the boat. Oil pressure, engine temperature, alternator output were all verified within specifications. The engine will be sold as shown. I will work with buyer to accommodate long range shipping requirements. Pickup at our location is also an option There may be an additional charge from Freightquote if the engine needs to be delivered at a residential address without a loading dock. I have many other marine engines available, as well as a warehouse that stocks many other marine components: Drives, transoms, engine parts, controls, etc. Please call with any questions: 262-483-7814 |

Sun, 08 May 2011The Lexus LFA turns up at the Goodwood Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club The Lexus LFA hasn’t had an easy gestation. Half a generation from the promise to the reality, and endless hiccups with lease and buy-back plans in the US – where Lexus initially refused to sell the LFA – meant many of the headlines were less than positive. Which is a real shame.
‘Cash-for-clunkers’ bill clears House
Wed, 10 Jun 2009The “cash-for-clunkers” legislation cleared another hurdle Tuesday, winning passage in the U.S. House of Representatives. That moves the proposed plan closer to reality and would offer up to $4,500 in vouchers to consumers who trade in older cars for new, more fuel-efficient rides.
Subaru Impreza WRX Turbo at 1994 prices
Sat, 31 Jan 2009More on the ‘Recession-Busting’ deals that abound from car makers at the moment. Subaru has come up with a deal for the Impreza WRX Turbo where you can have the car for the same price as the 1994 equivalent – just £17,798. Which in itself is an interesting figure and shows that cars, or certainly the Impreza in this case, have got cheaper in real terms.
