Mercedes has just passed a big landmark with sales of the current C Class, passing the 500,000 mark since the car’s launch in March of 2007. The C Class is the modern version of the 190 – the car everyone said would be the downfall of Mercedes.

They did that by offering all buyers of affected cars a compensation plan which repaid owners for their losses over expectation, added 15 per cent for good measure and made that ongoing for the lifetime of the ownership. GM completes sale of Saab to Spyker

The transaction combines Saab Automobile and its 3,400 employees with Spyker Cars and its 110-plus workers.
