Mercruiser Rochester 2 barrel carburetor.  This came from an early '70s L6 Mercruiser 165.  Generally suitable for the 140-165HP L4 and L6 motors, but there may be others.  I removed the thermostat for use elsewhere.

Was working fine but began dumping gas from the overflow, presumable the needle valve failed.  Guaranteed rebuildable.

Nissan to build $2 billion plant in Mexico

Nissan Motor Co. will build a $2 billion auto assembly plant in Mexico, its third in that country, as it works to outgun rival Honda Motor Co. The plant, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, will have initial capacity to build 175,000 light vehicles annually for the United States, Mexico and Latin America, with plans to expand.

Quail motoring show is on for 2010

The Quail motorsports gathering that is part of the Monterey Historics/Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance weekend is alive and well, according to the event's organizers. They say that although the owners of the Quail Lodge closed the hotel portion of the resort on Nov. 16, the golf course and clubhouse remain open and will continue to run the Quail Motorcycle Gathering on May 8, 2010, and the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering.

Alfa Romeo 4C production version revealed ahead of Geneva debut

The production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C has finally been revealed ahead of a launch at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. It’s been clear since December – when Alfa teased the 4C – that we would finally get a proper production version of theĀ firstĀ proper Alfa sports car in as long as we all care to remember. And, as far as we can see, the production Alfa 4C is pretty faithful to the concept.
