& Barr Marine Conversion Kit (1987-2001)
4.3L one-piece exhaust manifolds are no longer available. Engines with one-piece exhaust manifolds that require replacement,
need to be converted to two-piece exhaust manifolds, with removable exhaust bellows - this conversion kit allows you to do so.

In the past, the conversion from one-piece manifolds to two-piece manifolds required removal of the engine to change the lower exhaust
Y-pipe to a matching new style Y-pipe. MerCruiser offers this kit to facilitate this conversion and allows for installation of the two-piece
manifolds using the original Y-pipe, without removing the engine. If it is necessary to replace the original Y-pipe due to failure,
this kit can also be used with the new style Y-pipe.

MANIFOLD PACKAGE CONTAINS:
New Barr Marine exhaust manifold and 4" riser package. Direct replacement for 4.3L MerCruiser
center-rise exhaust manifolds and 4" risers. Frequently used on 1987 to 2001 applications.
