The Facelifted 2010 Nissan Qashqai Updated at the bottom with full Price and model detail for 2010. Last month we revealed that the 2010 facelift for the Nissan Qashqai was actually running ahead of the original plan, and instead of a Summer launch  as we first thought, Nissan now plans to have the 2010 Qashqai on the roads in March. We reckoned that Nissan would release first details on the facelifted Qashqai early this month, so we’re pleased to see that we were bang on the money with the first pictures of the 2010 Qashqai dropping in to our inbox this morning.

We have a photo of the 2015 Land Rover defender from China’s Patent Office. Is this the first view of the production version of the new Defender? We reported just last week that Land Rover are planning the replacement for the iconic Defender to be a world car and will be selling Defenders in the US for the first time since 1997.

Martin Smith, head of Ford of Europe design for the last 10 years, will retire at the end of this year, before which he will work on a project to study the future direction of the company's global design direction. He will be replaced by current head of strategic concepts group, Joel Piaskowski on 1 July. Smith (64) first joined Ford back in 2004, leaving General Motors as director of design for Opel/Vauxhall.
