1996 Mercruiser 5.7 Litre 260 hp complete drop in stern drive engine with only 333.4 hours. This is a low hour (333.4 hours on the included and still working hour meter) used motor that was just removed from a 1990 18 foot Century boat that was repowered in 1997 with this engine. It was a drop in style Mercruiser factory re-power at the time and not a new block or one of those remanfactured deals. This is a clean and original engine with a ton of life left in it. It is equipped with power steering as well. The live video was shot while it was still in the boat just hours before removal. It was carefully removed and includes everything as shown. Excellent oil pressure and voltage output. It is truly in great condition and running perfect. Everything is ready to plug in and hook up...even the heavy duty battery cables are still on it. Detroit Autorama to host Golden Commandos and Ram Chargers drag-racing teams
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Plenty of race-car drivers and automaker executives still remember the mantra, “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday.” The Golden Commandos and Ram Chargers, two drag-racing teams that embody that motto, will make an appearance at the Detroit Autorama at Cobo Center on March 8, from 1-2 p.m. According to Chrysler, this is the only time they have appeared together since competing on the strip in the late 1960s. The Golden Commandos group was started in 1962 by Chrysler technicians, mechanics and engineers who worked in Highland Park, Mich.
Cadillac CTS-V priced to undercut M5, XFR

Prices will start at £56,495, positioning the new Cadillac CTS-V just below the new Jaguar XF-R (£59,900) and comfortably undercutting German rivals such as the BMW M5 (£63,325) and Audi RS6 (a fulsome £74,550). Performance figures for the CTS-V make interesting reading, with 60mph being dispatched in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 191mph for the manual car (175mph for the automatic).

Tue, 13 May 2014BEING pregnant significantly increases a woman driver's chances of having a serious car crash, research has shown. During the second trimester of pregnancy – weeks 14 to 26 – the risk of being involved in a road accident requiring hospital treatment rose by 42%, a Canadian study of more than 500,000 pregnant women found. In the three years before getting pregnant, the women between them had an average 177 crashes per month.
