This is a very nice Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 sterndrive upper gearcase. Used in freshwater only. Gear ratio is 1.84:1, 17-19 tooth count. Gear oil was free of contamination and unit was pressure tested to 15psi without leaks. Shaft splines, U-joints and gear set all in good shape. Paint is decent. Overall nice unit.

Lexus launches 'Design Matters' campaign
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Lexus has hosted an event called ‘Design Matters' in New York City, as part of a new strategy to showcase the brand's commitment to design. Toyota's global president Akio Toyoda attended the event along with Mark Templin, executive vice president of Lexus International, who said, "Lexus is expanding as a global company and we need to speak to a broad global audience. There's no better way to do that than through design." Templin used the event to announce its other design-related campaigns.
Ford gets another NO on Volvo

They appear to have tried everyone from the Swedish Government to BMW and Mercedes, with a fair dose of Chinese firms in between (has Ford offered to sell it to you yet?
