This Prop Shaft is from a freshwater, well maintained, 1995 StarCraft Islander 221V with a 4.3L Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2 with low hours and is in excellent condition. The Shaft has been cleaned and there is no wear, pitting, rust, or chipping on the splines or threads. Will fit V6 Gen 2's from 1991 - 1997, and may fit others. Georg really is larger than life. We didn’t get a chance to say hi, but Robby noted that being part of the international brotherhood of nicotine addicts wasn’t a bad thing if you’re in such illustrious company. Batty, we did not accomplish your dare, for all the reasons I mentioned in the forum and more. 2) Tim Pollard – ok, I’m cheating because we were working for him, but come on, the guy does great work for the website.
Study links low-speed collision-avoidance system to fewer accidents
Tue, 19 Jul 2011A study of the Volvo XC60's low accident rate offers evidence that collision avoidance systems can improve vehicle safety. The XC60, which has a low-speed collision avoidance system dubbed City Safety, was involved in 27 percent fewer property damage accidents than other mid-sized luxury SUVs, according to a report released Tuesday by the Highway Loss Data Institute. The XC60 also was involved in 51 percent fewer bodily injury accidents.
Report: Teen driving deaths increase in 2012
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Deaths among new drivers in the beginning of 2012 increased 19 percent, according to a report from the Governors Highway Safety Association. Overall, 16- and 17-year-old driver deaths increased from 202 to 240. The report is based on preliminary data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia for the first six months of 2012.
