This is a Mercruiser Thunderbolt IV distributor for Tall Deck Big Block Chevy Marine engines. Fits tall deck 454 and tall deck bowtie blocks with manifolds that were not cut down to fit standard distributor. Very rare distributor. Was used on Mercruiser and Hawk tall deck marine engines . This distributor has a bronze drive gear for steel billet roller cams. Distributor is in pretty good shape, came out of a running engine that was upgraded to MSD ignition.

Chevrolet Sonic turbo gets six-speed automatic

Chevrolet Sonic fans who want the turbocharged 1.4-liter engine but don't want a manual transmission are in luck. Chevrolet is now shipping the Sonic with a six-speed automatic mated to the turbo engine. Fuel economy for the turbo Sonic, despite the automatic, is 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway, with a 0-to-60-mph time of about eight seconds, Chevy says.

Ford puts Volvo up for sale

Having spent most of the last twenty years carefully building up a portfolio of Prestige European car makers, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo, the last of these, Volvo, has now been put up for sale by Ford. This hardly comes as a surprise when you see the precarious state of Ford. It’s busy going cap-in-hand to the US government looking for a bail out, and selling off Volvo could add several hundred million pounds to its decimated balance sheet.
