Item (3526)  ONE standard piston and rod, from a 1989 mercruiser 5.7 GM Marine V8. This is the old design GM piston, casting number 10128213 with longer skirt, (piston length 3 3/16") you may not receive the pictured piston but will be one like it. These have not been numbered other than paint pen on top, I have several to choose from, so if you prefer an odd or even number please let me know i will try to accommodate if still available.  Used, good usable average condition from low hour engine with freeze damage, light rust on rod, but cosmetic issue only and will cause no problems just wanted to mention it. The Volvo C30 BEV Revealed is probably a bit strong as Volvo hasn’t actually rolled out a car for the world to see. But it is a plan – and internal evaluation, apparantly – of an electric Volvo C30. The Volvo C30 BEV is a logical step for Volvo to take for the small C30.

Chevrolet saves sinkhole Corvettes

CHEVROLET has taken on the job of restoring a number of classic Corvettes which were swallowed by a gaping sinkhole beneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. General Motors' head of global product development, Mark Reuss, said today that the damaged vehicles are some of the most significant in motoring history. He said the company wants to restore as many of them as possible so car fans can enjoy them.
