The facelift for the Porsche Panamera is due to arrive later in 2012 (or early 2013) and has been caught on video in Stuttgart. It’s three years since the Porsche Panamera was revealed at the 2009 Shanghai Motor Show and it’s time for Porsche’s big saloon car to get an overhaul. The 2013 Panamera, complete with cosmetic tweaks and oily updates, is something we expected to see at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, but with what looks like almost complete cars popping up in Stuttgart perhaps the tweaked Panamera is going to bow in at Paris in September instead?

MPs call for medicals in whiplash claims

Anyone claiming for whiplash following a crash could be subject to a medical examination before receiving a payout, if MPs get their way. This is a proposal from a report published by the House of Parliament’s transport committee looking at ways to drive down the cost of car insurance. Crash avoidance technology 'can cut crashes by a third'

GROUND-BREAKING rear-end crash avoidance technology can cut the likelihood of these accidents by up to a third, according to the latest crash test results by European safety body Euro NCAP. The Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) systems were trialled by Euro NCAP, which independently tests the crash safety standards of new cars in Europe. It tested the cars by driving them towards a dummy car made of an airbag to see which would stop before a collision occurred.
