This Mercruiser lower stern drive unit came off of a 4 cylinder 470. I was told that this unit works with both 4 and 6 cylinder engines. I do not know the gearing in this unit.

BMW say they are expecting around three quarters of all buyers of the new 2 Series Active Tourer will be new to the brand, which is a big opportunity for BMW. BMW purists may bemoan the front wheel drive setup as a betrayal of all BMW stands for (although you will be able to get xDrive 4WD versions), but for BMW it’s a very pragmatic way to go.

But the configurator was just the exterior, so we had no real idea what the inside of the Inside would look like. And nor did we when we saw the original Citroen DS Inside Concept at Geneva, as the doors were firmly shut and the windows blacked out.
