Mercruiser Mercury Alpha One Gen 2 Drive Shaft Housing / Upper Gearcase on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Riverside, California, United States
Condition:Used Brand:Mercruiser

Up for bid is a Mercury Alpha One Gen II drive shaft housing only. The unit is in good condition, but has a little dent at the leading edge of the bearing housing bore for the vertical shaft tapered roller bearing cup. The dent does not affect the performance of the unit. It just needs a little detail work. The damage can be seen in the 7th picture of the set. The bearing cup pulled with a slide hammer without a problem.

I think the part number is 1547-815930A7, which was replaced with 1547-815930A20.

Serial number on housing is OF374146

Hyundai goes K-Pop and releases an album

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Hyundai has teamed up with Korean pop stars to create an album of music inspired by the new i40, New Generation i30 and Veloster. We’ve loved the way Hyundai has moved its products on from  Halford’s special to mainstream credible in quick sticks, and their PR teams have been on the ball too with good initiatives and a willingness to make things happen. But we’re not too sure how effective a new album of music by Korea’s K-Pop stars – inspired, we’re told, by the new i40, New Generation i30 and Veloster – is as a marketing tool.

Wed, 19 Dec 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 19 December 2007 13:09 Honda will show a concept of the next-generation Pilot at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2008. Although the Americans call it ‘midsize’ the current car is hardly small: at 4775mm long it’s over 200mm longer than a BMW X3 so expect the new car to be as big as the X5. However, that means the concept can offer seating for eight.

Volkswagen iBeetle takes iPhone integration to another level

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

When we’re all walking round with Smartphones that possess the sort of computing power only a major desktop could offer just a few years ago, it makes sense for car makers to tap in to that power to control functionality and Infotainment in their cars. Which is why Volkswagen has rolled out the iBeetle at this week’s Shanghai Motor Show with a level of integration with Smartphones from Apple, and that previews a roll-out of Apple integration from VW, offering far more functionality and control than we’ve seen before. Or at least that’s the VW claim.
