THIS AUCTION IS FOR A COMPLETE REBUILD OF YOUR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MERCRUISER ALPHA I, GEN I OUTDRIVE, WITH ORIGINAL FACTORY PARTS. EACH DRIVE IS COVERED BY A TWO YEAR, PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY. WE CAN REBUILD YOUR DRIVE OR EXCHANGE, FOR YOUR AS REMOVED, REBUILDABLE, CORE. IF A REMANUFACTURED DRIVE IS SHIPPED BEFORE THE CORE IS RECEIVED, THERE WILL BE A CORE CHARGE, TO INSURE THAT THE CORE IS RETURNED. REBUILD INCLUDES DIS-ASSEMBLY, CLEANING AND INSPECTION OF ALL CASES AND PARTS. BOTH DRIVESHAFT AND PROPSHAFT ARE CHECKED FOR STRAIGHTNESS, YOKESHAFT AND INPUT SHAFT CHECKED FOR WEAR. THE DRIVES ARE THEN PRECISION ASSEMBLED AND SET UP WITH NEW OEM FACTORY GEARS/ BEARINGS/ WATER PUMP/ HEAVY DUTY U-JOINTS/ SEALS AND GIMBAL GASKET SET. THE DRIVES ARE THEN PRESSURE TESTED FOR 24 HOURS AND FILLED WITH HIGH QUALITY SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL. THE REBUILD DOES NOT INCLUDE REFINISHING OF CASES. THE REFINISHING OR REDECALING WILL BE QUOTED ON A PER CASE BASIS. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE ISSUES COVERED BY INSURANCE. IT DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE DUE TO OWNER NEGLECT. THE WARRANTY REQUIRES THAT THE PROPER MAINTENANCE BE PERFORMED. THE CUSTOMER PAYS FREIGHT BOTH WAYS. OUR GOAL IS SUPPLY OUR CUSTOMERS WITH THE BEST OEM PRODUCT POSSIBLE AND A BETTER THAN NEW WARRANTY. WE ARE FORMER MERCRUISER, OMC AND VOLVO PENTA DEALERS. Tue, 23 Mar 2010The Mitsubishi i-MiEV goes on sale in the UK in January 2011 As part of Mitsubishi’s wish to be thought of as the maker of eco-cars and the saviour of fluffy-bunnies and polar bear cubs, they’ve been pushing forward with their urban milk-float – the Mitsubishi i-MiEV – for all they’re worth. They launched the i-MiEV last year in Japan and have been softening up the public with bits of info this year such as the mad assertion that four policemen and all their kit would fit in an i-MiEV. So we all know the little electric Mitsubishi is coming, and in Japan – with a thumping big Government subsidy – it costs £20,000.
Mercedes-Benz introduces nine-speed automatic gearbox
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Mercedes-Benz has quietly slipped a new nine-speed automatic into its lineup as standard equipment on the European market E350 BlueTec. The new in-house produced unit, known internally under the name 9G-Tronic, has long been slated for selected Mercedes-Benz models. However, its existence was officially denied until the weekend, when Mercedes-Benz's German language website configurator went live with various updates for the E-class lineup -- including an entry signaling the 9G-Tronic is now available on the standard rear-wheel drive E350 BlueTec in place of the older seven-speed.
