This is a good used 165 Pre-Alpha Sterndrive Upper Gearcase. Used in freshwater only. Gear ratio is 1.65:1, 24-24 tooth count. Fluid was free from contamination. Unit pressure tested to 15psi without leaks. Shaft splines, U-joints and gear set in good shape. Paint is decent. Overall nice unit.

Gemballa had traveled to South Africa in February on a business trip regarding the opening of a dealership in Johannesburg, according a Reuters report.
