Mon, 14 Mar 20112011 Saab 9-3 Once day, we’ll get round this problem of what year t0 allocate to a car. With the facelifted Saab 9-3 going on sale in the UK next month, Saab are referring to it as the 2012 MY Saab 9-3 in this morning’s press release, but it seems unlikely anyone in the UK will do so. In the US, cars going on sale from May are referred to as the following year car, so assuming the new 9-3 goes on sale across the Pond in May it will be the 2012 Saab 9-3.
BMW to reveal Zagato concept at Pebble Beach
Thu, 16 Aug 2012This weekend at Pebble Beach, Monterey and the Legends of the Autobahn, BMW will show off a handful of cars, the most intriguing of which is this Zagato concept. Basically looking like a swoopy version of the Z4, the Zagato concept will hold court next to the 2013 BMW 7-series, the Alpina B7 and more products from the M division, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Three vintage race cars will be out touring during the Motorsports Reunion, including the 1986 BMW-March GTP, the 1980 BMW M1 Procar and a 1975 BMW 3.5 CSL, the last of which will be piloted by BMW North America President and CEO Ludwig Willisch.

Wed, 02 Nov 2011Mini is set to add the fifth model to its family line-up in the form of the two-seat Roadster. Based around a similar concept to the recently announced Coupe, it adopts a sportier stance as well as a focus on a more youthful market. In ditching the rear seats of the cabriolet, it becomes the first two-seat convertible in the brand's history.
