And it doesn't really get any better than vintage footage of the classic Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster tearing up the Bonneville Salt Flats circa 1935 followed by a demonstration of the big Duesenberg streamliner, “The Mormon Meteor” thundering across the lake bed.

The new Works option is an aftermarket job for the new Mini; it increases power of the Cooper S to 192bhp and adds numerous styling tweaks. A more powerful Works version, which will be built on the production line and boast more than 210bhp, will be added later, officials promised.

The massive improvements in the Corvette's interior are on full display, with the red leather and carbon-fiber accents adding just the right amount of Bad MoFo to what's an otherwise luxurious cockpit. Stay tuned: We're expecting to get our hands on the new Corvette this summer, and we'll bring you a full drive report as soon as we wipe the grins off our faces.
