Lexus has confirmed a new F-model coupe will have wheels, a large vent inspired by the old IS-F super-saloon, and trademark ‘Ultra Blue’ paint. This is the joy of teaser shots – a supposedly exciting drip-feed of detail pictures that actually make a car’s final reveal a complete anti-climax. Take note, Mini Vision concept and Corvette Z06…
Though Lexus won’t confirm as much (oh, the teases!), we’re expecting to see the hot new RC-F coupe launched at the Detroit motor show in January 2014.

Mitsubishi has just announced pricing for its 2014 Mirage, not to be confused with the Cadillac Elmiraj. Mitsubishi's version -- being a bit smaller and bit cheaper -- loses a few letters and opts for conventional spelling. As you can see, this Mirage is a little different from the last time we saw back in the '90s (when it was a compact sedan) -- different to the point of being a completely different car in a completely different segment.

Mercedes has announced that the CLS Shooting Brake, which was shown as a concept at the Beijing motor show in April 2010, will go into production in 2012.
Well, if you want a car that will turn heads around town – and find the E-class estate has a little too much room – then this is the car for you. Mercedes flatly refuses to admit that the CLS Shooting Brake is an estate, preferring to call it a ‘sporty four-door coupe with a sloping tail end based on the CLS’. In essence, this car is a hatchback version of the CLS, and despite a slightly raised roof, it still sits a full 10cm lower than its E-class sibling.
