Item (949) vertical drive shaft from a 1980 mercruiser lower unit. Will work on most pre alpha 82 and older with pre load pin. Used but good, average condition, very usable part, not mint. Splines, seal and bearing surfaces are all good, shows some very minor wear in water pump seal area, but still probably above average and very usable. Maserati names new North American boss

Update on McNabb Maserati has named longtime Chrysler executive Bob Graczyk as CEO of its North American division. He replaces Mark McNabb, who previously worked for Cadillac and Infiniti. McNabb had led Maserati since June 1, 2009.

GM recalls 2011 Cadillac SRXs for airbag fix

General Motors is recalling 50,500 copies of the 2011 Cadillac SRX crossover because the front-passenger airbag does not work as outlined in the owner's manual. The recall affects 47,401 vehicles in the United States, with the remainder in Canada and Mexico. GM said there are no reports of crashes or injuries related to the issue.
