Mercruiser, Volvo, Omc 4.3 Liter Complete Running Drop In Engine on 2040-parts.com
Belgium, Wisconsin, United States
For sale is a very nice complete running drop in marine engine. This engine was removed from a 1989 boat that had suffered stringer and floor rot. The engine has very good cylinder compression readings of 165 to 175 PSI. The original engine block has been replaced with a Mercruiser OEM long block assembly. This work was done prior to us purchasing the boat. We don't know when it was put into service. This engine is fitted with a four barrel carburetor. There is an optional remote oil filter system installed on the engine. I ran the engine on the test stand for over an hour. Engine oil and filter were changed. Fuel filters were also replaced. This engine may be used on a generation one or generation two configuration. There was no hour meter installed on the boat. Oil pressure, engine temperature, alternator output were all verified within specifications. I took a video of the engine running on the test stand. This video could be e mailed on request. The engine will be sold as shown. Ready to drop in and run. I will work with buyer to accommodate long range shipping requirements. Pickup at our location is also an option There may be an additional charge from Freightquote if the engine needs to be delivered at a residential address without a loading dock. I have many other marine engines available, as well as a warehouse that stocks many other marine components: Drives, transoms, engine parts, controls, etc. Please call with any questions: 262-483-7814 |

But Alfa Romeo finally got round to revealing the 4C in prodiction spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month will get to see the 4C strutting its stuff up the hillclimb. But ahead of that dynamic debut, Alfa has released new video of the 4C out playing on the Balocco Racetrack in Italy, with a few wailing exhausts notes but far to much dramatic music as a soundtrack.
America trialling solar-powered roads
Wed, 14 May 2014Solar Roadways After glow-in-the-dark road markings proved to be a bit of a flop when the paint washed away in the rain, experts are now experimenting with solar-powered motorways. A small, family-owned American company based in Idaho called Solar Roadways has created a short section of road that uses the sun’s energy to power nearby buildings, as well as electric cars. If the solar-powered roads are adopted worldwide, it could put an end to the range-anxiety commonly associated with electric vehicles.
