 Featured is a used, in very good  condition,  Bottom Cowl  for a Mercury 60hp, 3 cylinder, 2 cycle,  outboard motor.  It is heavy black aluminum  and is complete with all latch parts.  This part has the number 2197-812512-C  molded into the underside of it.  The ser# of the motor that this part came off of  is 0D112525 and it is a 1992 model. This part probably will fit several other models, but I do not know which ones. If you are using on a different size / model  / year, please research this before bidding. We will be listing many more parts for this motor.  Please look at photos as I tried to show cover from every side.  Retail on this cowl is $320.27 and most places online are asking around $250.00 new.  This is a big fairly heavy part so packaging and shipping by FedEx is $20.00.

The Senate Commerce Committee voted today to pass a far-reaching vehicle safety bill that has largely won both automaker and consumer support, sending the measure to the full Senate. The bill passed without objections from any senators. The legislation, crafted in the wake of Toyota's safety recalls this year, resembles a House bill that also is now on the floor of that chamber.

But the five-year-old event is fast becoming a fixture in the broader design calendar, and has been sponsored by Jaguar for the past four years for good reason. In simple terms, Jaguar wants to be seen (and respected) beyond the automotive realm: "We want to connect with other designers and have our designers learn from designers in other fields," advanced design director Julian Thomson told Car Design News.
