Up for grabs, I have a powerhead removed from a 2001 90 HP Mercury outboard. The motor was in running condition but had an issue with corrosion. The compression is good on all 3 cylinders. There were 3 small holes on the block / water jacket. They were patched with JB weld and the motor ran great. The motor started to not fire on the bottom cylinder, and upon checking the spark plug, there was a small amount of water getting into that cylinder. I am not interested in tearing down the block to find the source of the leak. Selling AS IS for parts or repair. 2 of the JB weld patches were painted over, but the 3rd one behind the electronics were not. I will strap this to a pallet for shipping which will probably be around 100-160$ to a commercial address. Please email me for a shipping quote prior to purchasing. NO RETURNS FOR THIS ITEM.

CCS - AISI project 2007
Wed, 26 Sep 2007The college for Creative Studies (CCS) has been teaming up with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) since 1989, bringing together imaginative automotive design and steel, the material of choice in the industry. As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.
