Super-Mercs storm in

Powered by AMG’s formidable 6.3-litre V8 that pumps out 525bhp at a screaming 6800rpm and 465lb ft of twist action at 5200rpm, the uber Mercs will both hit 60mph in 4.6seconds and are electronically reined in at 155mph. Given their flagship position in the Mercedes thoroughbred stable, both cars are naturally fitted with every single acronym in Mercedes’ safety, braking, luxury and performance lexicon.

SRT Viper GTS-R takes to the track

The boys from SRT put a few hot laps on its 2013 Viper GTS-R on Friday in preparation for running with the American Le Mans Series. Team wheelman Marc Goossens was behind the wheel at the 2.279-mile, 14-turn Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, S.C. That Audi A3 Concept – which came complete with 400bhp and a boot – was really a look at the next generation RS3 in saloon guise – an Audi A3 that will go down a storm in an America quickly realising the joys of something smaller and swift. But now, for whatever reason, Audi has decided to release sketches of the 2013 Audi A3 in both saloon and hatchback form, together with a single sketch of the interior.
