With almost 300bhp, a 0-60 time in the high 5 seconds and a top speed of 164mph, the Focus RS looks an enticing package for the boy racers. Austrian prices are quoted at €39,000, which at today’s rotten rates equates to about £32.5k.

Nice to be right sometimes! Lamborghini has officially released details on the LP670-4 SV today at the Geneva Motor Show ’09, and just as we thought, it is the Murcielago to end all Murcielagos (which is about right, as it will be the last Murcielago Coupe – although we should still have the Murcielago LP-650-4 Roadster to look forward to).
General Motors combines smartphone functions with the Chevrolet Volt
Wed, 06 Jan 2010General Motors is bringing together two of the hottest areas of technology--smartphones and plug-in electric cars. GM's OnStar telematics unit has developed a downloadable application that will let Chevrolet Volt drivers use a Blackberry Storm, Apple iPhone or Motorola Droid to remotely control and monitor some vehicle functions, such as charging. The Volt is slated to go into production late this year and arrive in California utility company fleets by early 2011.
