This is one of a number of hubcaps I will be posting over the next few days.  Some are singles, some of them I have more than one (the ad will indicate how many, as will the photos).  This is a single hubcap for a Mercury vehicle

I measured the hubcap, and it is just under 15 1/2 inches across at the widest point, measuring from the outside. That would make this a hubcap for a 16 inch steel rim.   Looks to be in okay shape, but not factory new - it has a few mars and nicks, and a fair amount of scratching around the metal rim.  If you need it to match, here's a chance.   The hubcap is mostly metal, with a plastic insert which is the part that has the Mercury logo on it.  On the back, that plastic piece has the lettering E86C-1000-AB, along with CAV.2.   Don't know what year Mercury vehicles it came off of, and I couldn't find any decent internet source of photos of hubcaps that contained a picture of it.  Heavy sucker, made of a combination of metal and plastic.  If you know what it goes to and need it, then this is a good find for you!  If you know what it is and want to let me know, I'll be glad to post that info in this ad.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (2013) first official pictures

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

You wait ages for a new Corvette, and then six weeks after the new Stingray bows in at the 2013 Detroit atuo show, its soft-top sister is revealed at the Geneva motor show. The latest C7-generation Corvette drop-top uses the same mechanical package (big V8 up front, power sent to the rear wheels) as its fixed-head sister but adds an electrically-folding soft-top roof that you can lower remotely via pushing a button on the key fob. You can also drop the roof while on the move, at speed of up to 31mph.
