1960's Mercury Kiekhaefer Merc 150 outboard motor completely gone through, every last nut and bolt by skilled experienced Mercury outboard mechanic.  Only top notch parts are used, the rest are trashed.  We are VERY fussy. All the rebuild parts we buy are NEW, not old stock.  Old stock parts are usually deteriorated, rusty, brittle and just plain trouble. Cylinders honed, all new rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, coils, plugs, water pump impellers, plug wires and points when needed, rebuilt carb and fuel pump, new gas lines, water jacket stripped and flushed, waterlines bored, lower unit completely rebuilt and properly adjusted, new bearing nuts, rebuilt pull starter, new rope, EVERYTHING!!  We test run and tear down again for the slightest problem.  Paint is completely stripped, fresh zinc chromate primer applied, then two coats of hardened polyurethane gloss enamel are applied.  New decals applied. Color is original Mercury off-white. These motors we build are expected to run another 50 years with proper maintenance. The ones we chose to rebuild are still running and over 50 years old. These are the best damned motors ever built. They were originally tested to 25,000 miles by the factory, and they won all the races.  Minnesota motors only had a short summer season and did not get the salt water year-round use of motors from the southern states.  THIS is where the GOOD motors were hiding.

We have our own shipping crates that we recycle to save you crating costs.  Can ship FedEx on YOUR ACCOUNT. We offered the Mercury Mark 10, 15, Merc 100, 150, 200, and 250 last year and sold out of inventory.  We are doing it again this year with an inventory of 25 motors, but will only be offering Mark 15, Merc 150, 200 and 250 motors this year.  There is a waiting list.

Scientists from MIT have developed a semi-autonomous driving system that is proven to reduce acccidents by 75 per cent. A front-mounted camera and laser range-finder identify the car's surroundings while making realtime updates to distances, mapping out the car's movement into 'safe zones'. The system also asseses the vehicle's limits, such as grip, and corrects the car.

Aston Martin sales and revenue up in 2013 Aston Martin has revealed its results for 2013 – its centenary year – which show the coolest car brand on the planet managed to increase sales by 11 per cent – to around 4,200 cars – and revenue to £519 million, an increase of 13 per cent over 2012. Aston Martin’s earnings before EBITDA (that’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) were up a strong 22 per cent to £84.8 million, demonstrating strong operating profitability, although actual earnings were marginal. But Aston Martin are bullish about the performance, and equally bullish about the future.
