There are some scratches and a slight ding in the metal on this piece, but it is new old stock and is still in the box with foam around it, so I doon't know how the scratches or ding, which is not bad, and piece is still quite usable. Graduating students from the Transportation Design course at Korea's Hong-ik University presented their work in the 2004 Degree Show entitled 'Design Concert', held December 7-13 in the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS) in Seoul. The works shown are based on a wide range of vehicle concepts and brands. The' Professional day', which is an annual event, was also hosted on the exhibiition opening evening with graduating students, professors and professional designers from the automotive industry.

Mazda's rotary engine stalled, not forgotten

Development of the next-generation rotary engine from Mazda Motor Corp., first unveiled three years ago, is making slow progress despite missing emissions targets. A top Mazda powertrain executive said today that the 1.6-liter rotary engine, called the 16X, is about 30 percent more fuel-efficient than the current rotary engine used in the RX-8 sporty car. In fact, the 16X so far performs slightly better than Mazda's standard two-liter gasoline engine, said Mitsuo Hitomi, general manager of the Japanese carmaker's powertrain division.
