The GT86 TRD, of which just 250 examples are UK-bound, gets a subtle bodykit, bigger wheels, a tuned exhaust and a couple of badging trinkets, but crucially, no extra power from the 2.0-litre boxer engine. Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car reset for street duty

Lamborghini has taken the version of the Gallardo it builds for the single-make Super Trofeo racing series and re-engineered it for street duty to create the Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain Edition. The 5.2-liter V10 in the road-going car pumps out 570 hp, the same as the race car. It also gets the race car's tall rear wing, rear engine cover, composite ceramic brake discs and extensive use of carbon fiber.

Associated Press Mercedes-Benz has been found guilty of fixing prices of car parts in China – with BMW, Audi and Chrysler also facing penalties. China’s state news agency, Xinhua, reports that the German manufacturer has been found guilty of using its power to control the prices of parts. The Chinese government is cracking down on monopolies and has been accused of being too harsh on companies from abroad.
