Which is what this car essentially is, as the demand for 100 Aeromax hardtops was just so great that Morgan decided to build another similar model. The Supersports uses the same 4.8-litre V8 as the Aeromax, comes with a wood and leather-covered interior and features a bonded aluminium chassis that is cloaked by superformed aluminium panels.

Nissan LEAF EV - 15k sold worldwide, but just a handful in the UK As electric cars go, the Nissan LEAF is one of the best. It looks like a proper car – even if it’s not exactly drop dead gorgeous – it has the accoutrements of a real car and you can pile in your shopping and the kids just as you could in any other family sized hatch. But from our perspective the LEAF is an orange trying to be a banana.

College Exhibition: Coventry University students prepare for the Transport Design Degree Show

Final-year students on Britain's largest and oldest transport design course are preparing to exhibit their work at this year's Coventry University Degree Show. The work of hundreds of the most talented young artists, engineers, product and transport designers will be unveiled at the private view on 11 June 2004. The show is open to the public from 12-17 June 2004 and admission is free.
