JLR announces £16.3m Evoque_e research project
Sun, 03 Nov 2013Jaguar Land Rover has announced it will invest £16.3 million into an ‘Advanced Powertrain Research Project’ – which could lead to an electric Evoque_e version of its small SUV. Jaguar Land Rover will work in conjunction with British technology company and race car manufacturer Zytek Automotive to develop new hybrid and battery-electric vehicle technology. In fact, there were more details on the handling pack for the 599 – the 599 HTGE Pack – than there were for the 599XX. But Ferrari has now remedied that, and supplied us with more information and some pictures.
Saab gets more cash from China partner
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Saab has received another cash boost from its new China partner Pang Da with an additional order for 630 cars, worth 15 million euros or $21.7 million at current exchange rates. The order comes on top of an order for 1,300 cars worth $43.3 million (30 million euros) received by Saab from Pang Da in May. The Chinese company will pay in advance for the order and delivery of the vehicles will start in the third quarter, Saab said.
