This is a 2004 mercury 25hp 2 stroke. Tiller handle shift. It starts and runs but has a knock in engine. My unexpert opinion is it needs rebuilt. The only other issue is with the gear shift on the tiller handle, its hard to get it into reverse. My mercury mechanic confirmed it is a linkage prob. Not lower unit! I did replace the swivel tube to try and fix shifting issue, which was a $145 part. Didnt fix it. The rest of it is in great condition with no issues. There is alot of money here just in parts if someone needs them. Lower unit alone is $500. I own 3 others just like it so im selling it. The stainless prop is not included. The new one though is a much tidier effort in its styling, and the Tourer (estate) version is bordering on the svelte.
Peugeot RCZ R with 260bhp to debut at Goodwood FoS
Mon, 10 Jun 2013The Peugeot RCZ R (concept pictured) will debut in July at Goodwood We saw the first glimpse of the Peugeot RCZ R at the Paris Motor Show when Peugeot revealed the RCZ R as a concept at the same time as it revealed a facelift for the RCZ range. At the time we said we expected the RFCZ R to turn from concept to reality by the end of 2013, and today Peugeot has revealed that the RCZ R will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July before going on sale. The production RCZ R gets a tweaked version of the 1.6 litre turbo found in other RCZs (and other PSA/BMW cars) with 265bhp and the same range of styling tweaks the regular RCZ facelift got last year.
College Exhibition: IED Degree Show 2009
Tue, 08 Sep 2009Graduating students from the three-year post-graduate Transportation Design course at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy presented a tribute to the Aston Martin brand for their graduate theses. Called "Aston Martin 2025", 17 students in the post-graduate course - led by Fulvio Fantolino, IED's Transportation Design Course Coordinator - employed exclusivity, elegance, sporting style and the idea of sharing and emotion as their design keywords, developing a theme which ultimately saw 13 projects created in Alias or in clay. Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman provided the students with useful indications for the final development and a further selection led to the short listing of eight projects that were then produced in 1:4 scale models thanks to collaboration with Cecomp.
