This a freshwater standard long(20") detented shaft lower unit from a '77 Merc 850 with the correct 2.3:1 ratio. Fluid came out with no metal and was milky but pressure tested at 10psi for a period of 1 hour after new shift shaft seal. Comes with new impeller,whale tail and trim tab. Whale tail will be dismounted for shipping. Shift feels positive both forward and reverse. There is a small chip in the housing at the prop visible seen in about the fourth picture. Fits many models but do your own research. Sold as is/as described with no warranty or return. Shipping is for lower 48 only. Thanks for looking. 2009 Michelin Challenge Design theme announced
Tue, 15 Jan 2008Michelin today announced the 2009 theme for its global vehicle design competition, Michelin Challenge Design (MCD), asking entrants to explore the future of transportation and share their brave and bold vision for 'America's Next Iconic Vehicle.' Designers this year are asked to render unique vehicle concepts that demonstrate emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution. Additional consideration will be given to entries with attributes that benefit safety and the environment and include a separate rendering of the tire and wheel component assembly. Vehicle designs that best represent "Brave + Bold, America's Next Iconic Vehicle" will be reviewed by a jury of professional designers whose names will be announced later in 2008.
Best new car sales in six years
Tue, 07 Jan 2014RECORD new car sales achieved a six-year high in 2013, the motor industry has announced. A total of 2,264,737 new cars were registered in 2013 - a 10.8% rise on the 2012 figure and the best annual total since the pre-recession year of 2007, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. The 2013 total was boosted by a 23.76% rise, to nearly 153,000, in sales in December - the 22nd successive month of increases.
