While most of the new cars on show won't be built around entirely new sheet metal - some will feature new powertrains, for example - the Englon TXN is indeed all-new. Sitting in Geely's Englon range, a sub-brand initially created for the taxicab, the TXN is intended as a replacement for the aging TX4 built by British automaker LTI (as well as at Geely's Shanghai Maples factory).

Jaguar Land Rover will work in conjunction with British technology company and race car manufacturer Zytek Automotive to develop new hybrid and battery-electric vehicle technology. The new WRX STI may have lost some of its style from concept to production, but it does still offer cracking performance at an affordable price as a supercar toy for the Playstation generation. But even though the styling is rather uninspiring, the mechanicals hold more than an appealing mix of performance and dynamics.
