“Shift and throttle functions smooth. Fast-idle and start-in-neutral protection.”
Brand:Qicksilver Manufacturer Part Number:Commander

Quicksilver brand hidden [ie. flush mount] control for MerCruiser sterndrives [I/O's] or Mercury, Mariner, and later Force-by-Mercury brand outboards. This control type is referred to in the service manuals as the Commander model used throughout the 1980's; possibly into the 1990's before replaced with the 3000. Uses cable type common to Mercury products from the 1950's to at least the early 90's; I don't know if "Gen 2" cables are the same at the control unit end...so check w/ your mechanic before bidding. Shift and throttle operation free, smooth, and positive; fast-idle [neutral warm-up] function fully operational - failure of the shift disengagement function is a common failure on these units. Has Up/Down trim switch at thumb position and 'trailer' [full tilt] switch lower down on handle. Shipping's cheap, too, via fast Priority Mail. Check my FB; I ship what I list fast at actual cost. No padded shipping, reserves, low-ball starting bids or other gimmicks here; I deal straight up. Please Ask-a-Question if you have any, well, questions about this item or its suitability for your purpose; I'm here to help you get your boat repaired or equipped for affordable dough. Thanks for looking.

Brilliance H230

Tue, 22 May 2012

The new Brilliance H230 sedan marks a change in design language from its predecessors such as the H530 and V5 that were accused of being reminiscent of BMWs. The H230's new grille design and inward-angled headlamps combine with a bold front fascia design to create a distinctive C-segment sedan DRG. The interior features a simple black and white theme, with a repeated lozenge motif.
