1996 Alpha One Gen II Lower Unit.   Unit was in great working condition before damage and came off an 18 ft boat with a 4.3L.  The unit slid down a boat ramp and ground a hole in the front of the housing.   The unit spins and the internals appear to be in working order.   The unit has less than 300 hours on it and was regularly serviced.   A skeg guard was added due minor wear on the skeg, it is not broken.    Please ask any questions prior to purchase.   The unit is offered for sale locally so the auction may end early if the item is no longer available.     

Note, the white on the underside of the drive is deposits on the paint that due come off.

A 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale won the Trofeo BMW Group, given by the judges for the best in show at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, over the weekend. The Coppa d’Oro, for best in show as voted by the public, went to a 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous DB4 GT Zagato, won a design award for Best Concept Car or Prototype.

Ford future products: New vehicles get lighter, faster and move upscale

Ford Motor Co.'s future-product focus is on improved fuel economy by making its vehicles smaller and engines lighter without sacrificing performance, safety or luxury. It also wants to push the Ford brand more upscale to capture customers orphaned by the shutdown of the Mercury brand, and to attract new buyers with more product offerings. Ford has said 90 percent of its North American nameplates will be available with direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost engines as standard equipment or as an option by 2013.

Scat Pack is back for Charger R/T and Challenger

To the delight of Mopar fans, Dodge brought back the Scat Pack last November at the SEMA show. At the time, the company teased upgrade packages for the Charger, Challenger, and Dart. Dodge has just now announced details on the upgrades that'll be available for the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine found in the Charger R/T and the Challenger.
