Fiat's U.S. sales increasing with new ads, 500 Abarth interest
Thu, 22 Mar 2012After a slow start, Fiat 500s are starting to move off of dealer lots, according to an article in the Detroit Free Press. Fiat executives claim that the public debut of the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth at the Los Angeles auto show and some provocative advertising have led to increased interest in the Fiat brand. February was the best sales month yet for the model that Fiat chose to reintroduce Americans to sub-$100,000 Italian cars.

Fri, 22 Aug 2014CAR BUYERS are being turned off by clichéd adverts and the phrase ‘one careful lady owner’ has been named top of the flops in a recent survey. Second in the list of least liked phrases is ‘baby forces sale’, while third goes to ‘genuine reason for sale’. Other key phrases used by car sellers that can actually turn away possible buyers include ‘first to see will buy’, ‘mint condition’ and ‘priced to sell’.
New Stratos (w/ Gallery)
Wed, 18 Aug 2010After weeks of speculation, the official story and pictures of the reborn Lancia Stratos – officially named 'New Stratos' – have been revealed. While the car's design and concept are obviously related to the 2005 Fenomenon Stratos – a venture headed by RCA graduate Chris Hrabalek – design and development have been completed by Pininfarina. Initially headed by Jason Castriota before he left – ironically for the original Lancia Stratos' birthplace, Bertone – Luca Borgogno completed the exterior and interior design.
