I cranked the motor over with this starter before removing it. Seemed to crank like it should. Starter will fit several years & hp so be sure, to make sure this is the correct one you need. Chevrolet Cruze gets better fuel economy for the 2012 model year
Thu, 19 May 2011The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is making a run at its Eco brother, with a highway fuel-economy rating of 38 mpg with an automatic transmission, 2 mpg more than last it got last year. A manual transmission is now more widely available on the Cruze, according to the General Motors ordering guide. The 1LT and 2LT models will now be available with the six-speed manual, which should increase the fun quotient with the turbocharged 1.4-liter engine.

Did they just disappear, or are they just not being insured?). But this got us thinking.
Automakers sign up to Apple 'Eyes Free' Siri button
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Apple has announced that the leading carmakers have signed up for the addition of an ‘Eyes Free' button that will activate Siri for in-car Apple products. Siri – the innovative voice activation system developed for the 4S, Apple's latest iPhone – can be activated by pressing a steering wheel mounted button and allows the driver to access the same information available when not driving. Apple reported at its 2012 Worldwide Developer's Conference that Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Toyota, Land Rover, Jaguar, Chrysler and Honda have all signed up to offer Eyes Free within the next 12 months.
