Nissan's DeltaWing goes for a ride at Sebring
Mon, 19 Mar 2012The Nissan-powered DeltaWing race car was on-hand for a few laps at Sebring this weekend, and the funky-looking speedster made it around the 3.7-mile track without incident. Granted, it was at about half race speed, but it was good to see the Nissan out on four wheels— narrow as some of those wheels might be. The DeltaWing sports a direct-injection, 1.6-liter turbocharged Nissan engine making about 300 hp.
Google Glasses driver has ticket torn up
Tue, 21 Jan 2014An American driver who was fined for driving while wearing Google Glasses has had the ticket torn up. Cecilia Abadie was stopped by police in California who said the Google Glass digital spectacles fell foul of laws banning drivers from watching TV when behind the wheel. Well, they’re back with a bit more of a drip-feed of information as the debut of their first car – which they dub “… the world’s first Super-SUV” – grows closer. We’d speculated that Eterniti wasn’t a car maker but was instead an after-market customiser; simply taking an existing car and making it ‘special’.
