Up for auction is a used flywheel part number 271-817632-C1. Flywheel will fit many V6 motors of various sizes and years. Appears to be in very good condition. The individual whom I bought out was heavily into mercury racing, performance and Bridgeport motors. Needless to say he had a lot of very high dollar performance parts and even though carbs may appear stock they could have been rejetted. Most of my current parts listings have come from a GIANT collection of used parts. I bought out an individual who had a lifetime collection of mercury and omc parts. I can only list the appearance and not the actually operating condition since I've never seen these parts on running motors. Appears to be in good condition. Parts may need cleaning up as I list them the way they come off the motors. The other day we reported what appeared – at least on the face of it – to be a leaked photo of the new Alpine A110-50, the first new Alpine from Renault in many a year. And we weren’t convinced.

Now we have the arrival of the Aston Martin Rapide S as a replacement for the Rapide, which goes a similar route to the DB9 with a more a aggressive attitude and more power. Aston Martin revealed the Rapide S in January in an effort to inject some oomph in to Rapide sales – as a replacement for the Rapide and not as an ‘S’ model to sit above it – bestowing it with 550bhp instead of the Rapide’s 470bhp, chucking in a new grill and boot spoiler and a set of the Gen 4 tweaks like adaptive dampers.

Wed, 31 Jul 2013Flavio Manzoni has explained the secrets behind the design of the LaFerrari hypercar in an interview with Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe. Ferrari's design chief, speaking at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, talks of how the LaFerrari was designed to manifest the future of Ferrari and mark a milestone in the design process. Presentations of four 1:1 scale models adorn the walls of the room kept exclusively for project LaFerrari, although there were five initial presentations – three from Ferrari and two from Pininfarina.
