This is an interchangeable dual ram hydraulic tilt and trim that come off of a 1978 mercury 1400 or 140 horse power outboard motor. I was told by a dealer that it would fit any mercury outboard motor from 1968 to 1982 that was rated from 60-150 horse power and that has the little damper shocks on the sides. It may fit more models but I don't know which ones for sure? Please ask any questions before purchasing this item and I'll do everything I can to make sure it will fit your motor. I matched this up to my 1968 80 horse mercury and it fit perfectly. This unit is in perfect working but used condition, it will need hydraulic fluid added to it upon installation, it has been drained. I have an up/down switch that I will include with the sale but there is one threaded rod that is missing, it was buggered up during the removal process but can be purchased at any local hardware store. This rod is just a 1/4 inch by about 12 inch piece of all thread is all, it's a very common item to find. Depending on where you mount the switch, you might need a bit more wire as well?

Mercedes-Benz G-class to get V12 power

Mon, 26 Mar 2012

Mercedes-Benz has slyly revealed a lightly facelifted version of the 33-year-old G-class prior to its planned public premiere at the Beijing motor show next month. The reworked version of the German carmaker's iconic military-grade SUV, planned to go on sale in European markets in June with North American deliveries slated to begin by the end of this year, can be seen in the background of an official photograph of the facelifted GLK posted on the Mercedes-Benz media Web site. Among the subtle changes made to the G-class's classic square exterior is a restyled grille with three prominent slats in place of the older model's seven slats, new headlamp inserts with horizontally mounted LED running lights and redesigned mirror housings.

New Boxster and Caymen swell Porsche’s order book

Sat, 11 Apr 2009

The 2009 Porsche Cayman S - helping to boost Porsche sales [ad#ad-1] We’ve run stories on how well Porsche, and the whole VW/Audi group, is holding up through the current malaise in the car industry. Porsche’s last lot of profit figures were very impressive, but were mainly due to the huge amounts Porsche made on its trading in VW shares. We noted at that time that Porsche reckoned its sales were slow because people were waiting for the new versions of the Boxster and Cayman, and when that happened sales would increase.
