Up for auction is a used Mercury V6 Front Block Half. Part number 969-6573. Made for horizontal reeds. Most of my current parts listings have come from a GIANT collection of used parts. I bought out an individual who had a lifetime collection of mercury and omc parts. I can only list the appearance and not the actually operating condition since I've never seen these parts on running motors. Appears to be in good condition. Parts may need cleaning up as I list them the way they come off the motors. A quick internet search or a call to your local dealer should reveal the parts this will interchange with as well as compatibility to your motor. Free shipping to the lower 48. Autonomous emergency braking mandatory in Europe by 2014
Tue, 07 Aug 2012Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is set to become mandatory as a result of new European regulations. From 2014 Euro NCAP – the organization responsible for conducting independent assessment of vehicle safety performance – will amend its reports and no car will gain a five-star rating without AEB. It's hoped an increased use of the system will cut down on front-end impacts as well as pedestrian injuries.

Winners announced in Chinese Auto Design Awards 2011
Tue, 04 Oct 2011Winners in the fourth Chinese Auto Design Awards have finally been announced. Held at the China Agriculture Film and Television Center in Beijing, the glamourous ceremony saw awards given to two groups; students and automotive manufacturers. Amongst the automotive groups, it was GAC Trumpchi that was awarded the ‘Best Design Innovation Award', whilst Buick's picked up the ‘Golden Dot Award' for its ‘Envision' concept car.
